Job Description
Lithium3 are working with a business in South Derby and we require the services of a Network Engineer on a permanent basis.
However, this role sits within a traditional 3rdLine Infrastructure team; so we also require Server and Storage experience too.
We require a Network Engineer / 3rdLine Infrastructure Engineer that would be the “to go person” when it comes to the Network, but we need for the successful candidate to help on the Server/ Storage side too as and when required.
Holding a Cisco certification is highly desirable.
This role is paying £35k - £45k and the role sits within a team of 8 within the Infrastructure team.
Role
* Work the Systems and Development teams
* Management of the network and of the server systems
* Createdocumentation withwell writtenguidelines alongpolicies and procedures
* 3rd line Infrastructure support
* Management and monitoring and support of the server and network systems

* Citrix or Microsoft application and desktop delivery solutions
* Server & backups
* Microsoft Exchange
* Storage systems (DAS and NAS and SAN)
* ITIL

* IT Security
* Cloud based hosting (Azure or AWS)
* Juniper / Cisco Firewalls
* WLAN management as well as configuration
* SQL Server
* Telephony
