Multi Skilled Engineer - Greater Manchester - c£58,000
Shifts: 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights
Overview: Our client is a fast-growing food manufacturer with multiple sites. They work with retailers across the UK and are looking for a reactive Multi Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team of engineers in the Manchester area.
About You:
* Need to multi skilled and have experience in reactive role previously.
* A good electrical background required with a proven track record working under pressure and the ability to read electrical drawings
* PLC experience is required for this Multi-Skilled Engineer to be able to go online with equipment and diagnose control faults.
* Mechanical experience required to be able to replace bearing and strip down motors on conveying systems.
What will you be doing?
* Perform preventive maintenance on food processing machinery and equipment.
* The Multi-Skilled Engineer will conduct breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
* Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical panels, sensors, PLCs, and control systems.
* Set up and test equipment to ensure it meets production and safety standards.
