We’re looking for a motivated and proactive Social Media Executive to join our outstanding team of Jammers in Manchester.
Our new Jammer will work alongside a fantastic team on national and regional projects for established brands in Personal Finance (we’re talking pet insurance and travel insurance), FinTech, Travel, Food & Drink, and Fitness.
Working closely with the social team, you’ll be responsible for delivering social media strategies for our clients, helping them achieve their digital goals.
As a confident communicator and creative thinker, you’ll be heavily involved in delivery work—such as content writing and planning, managing social profiles, implementing paid social activity, pitching to influencers to raise brand awareness, and monitoring performance to identify best practices. You’ll support the Social Media Manager in creating meaningful client reports in a timely manner, identifying key learnings and actions to apply across accounts.
Able to work collaboratively, you’ll consistently deliver against the unique requirements of working in a small agency.
You’ll be a strong writer, highly organised, and an exceptional communicator – comfortable speaking with and building strong relationships with your team, clients, and suppliers.
Working with the account team, you’ll manage social media accounts, work to set communications plans, research campaign proposals, contribute to new business pitches, and provide robust analysis.

Key Responsibilities
* Client interaction, including weekly performance calls, meetings, and day-to-day communication.
* Supporting the team in the implementation of strategic and creative campaigns.
* Monitoring clients’ industries and immersing yourself in relevant news and updates.
* Drafting and implementing best-in-class social media content aligned with broader marketing activity.
* Implementing paid social media to drive performance against objectives.
* Working closely with the creative team to devise campaigns and content for various channels.
* Measuring and reporting on the performance of campaign activity, refining where necessary.
* Supporting with drafting, editing, and refining blog content in line with brand voice and content strategy.
* Drafting creative and video briefs, and overseeing the production of channel-specific content.
* Supporting the broader account team with day-to-day delivery, research, and reporting.
* Producing insightful, client-facing reports and presenting results eloquently, demonstrating learnings and next steps.
Skills Required
* 1+ years’ agency experience.
* Demonstrable experience in implementing social media campaigns (both organic and paid).
* Up to date on the latest trends and algorithms.
* Proven experience with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
* Knowledge of Google Analytics.
* A good understanding of both B2B and B2C accounts, with proven results.
* Ability to present work meaningfully to clients and internal teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Outstanding organisational, planning, and time management skills.
* Experience using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com is a plus, but not essential.)
* Experience with tracking tools/software such as Meta, Iconosquare, BrandMentions, and Google Analytics.
