About Us:
Join our friendly, dynamic and dedicated patient services team at Braidcraft, where we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and comprehensive patient care. We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly team player with a passion for patient interaction and administrative excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Advisor, you will perform various tasks on a rotational basis, including but not limited to:
* Reception Duties: Greet and assist patients, answer phones, and handle inquiries.
* Appointment Management: Schedule and manage patient appointments.
* Workflow Management: Handle clinical documents efficiently.
* Coding/Summarisation: Update and summarise patient records accurately.
* Audio Typing: Transcribe medical dictations.
* Mail Handling: Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
* Scanning and Filing: Digitise and organise patient documents.
* Prescription Processing: Manage and process prescription requests.
* Patient Signposting: Guide patients to appropriate services or departments.
* Pharmacy Liaison: Communicate with pharmacies to manage prescriptions and patient queries.
* Additional Duties: Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate and friendly approach.
* Flexibility to work occasional overtime to cover holidays or absences.
* Previous experience and knowledge of EMIS and Docman software systems are advantageous but not required (training will be provided).
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
