This East London primary school, based in Hackney is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who is able to promote a positive working environment, assist small groups of children, and work along side the teachers to ensure each child shines!

Requirements:
Experience supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a classroom setting.
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Basic literacy and numeracy skills (GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent).
Knowledge of SEND strategies (e.g., differentiation, behaviour support, positive handling).
Good communication and teamwork skills to liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.
DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable skills for this role:
Ability to adapt teaching materials and activities to meet individual pupil needs.
Experience with assistive technology or learning support software.
Behaviour management strategies tailored for children with SEND.
Strong empathy and patience when supporting pupils with additional needs.
