Hardware Design Engineer: Providing support to the Diagnostics engineering team
We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to be the main interface between Score Group and their clients.
The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for the cost estimation and preparation for all Score projects.
Reporting to the Lead engineer the Hardware Design engineer will be the first point of contact for all clients.
Primary responsibilities
1. Participation in study and concept development work
2. Cost estimating and planning of projects
3. Preparation of design, drawings and documentation for customer and Score projects
4. Preparation of requisitions and specifications for procurement of instruments and associated apparatus
5. Participation in system assembly, construction, and commissioning activities
6. Gain & apply experience in hazardous area requirements for petrochemical environments
7. Gain & apply experience of valve condition monitoring methods
Qualifications
8. MEng or BEng (Hons) in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation discipline is desirable
Experience
9. Designing, building, commissioning or troubleshooting instruments, instrumentation systems or electronics
10. Experience with instrumentation such as pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, strain gauges, position transmitters, acoustic Sensors or vibration sensors
11. Experience with communication protocols such as 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, HART, Wireless HART or ISA100
12. Experience with Data Acquisition systems
13. Knowledge of hazardous areas (UKEx, ATEX, IECEx) is desirable
