Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Science Practitioner Specialist to join the Respiratory, Sleep Physiology, and Home Ventilation department at Surrey and Sussex Hospital NHS Trust, with a focus on delivering comprehensive lung function and sleep studies at Crawley Community Diagnostic Centre.

This is an exciting time to join the trust as we are continually striving to improve the services and care provided to our patients. The Respiratory, Sleep Physiology, and Home Ventilation department is currently undergoing service evaluation and modernisation to enhance patient care. The Healthcare Science Practitioner Specialist will play a key role in achieving these improvements, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to take the next step in their physiology career.

The trust supports continued professional development, including pathways for physiologists seeking professional registration or Scientist Training Programme equivalence with the Academy of Healthcare Science (AHCS), leading to registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

For a full list of duties and responsibilities, please refer to the attached trust job description and person specification.
