Job Description
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor on a Major Project in Orkney. This is a Energy/Civils related project. My client will also consider a strong Quantity Surveyor QS for this role.
Our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to enjoy the existing commercial team. This is an initial 6 month with a possibility of extending beyond this. This role falls inside IR35.

Package offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
· £460-£530 per day based on experience. My client will also consider a strong QS
· Inside IR35
· 6 month initial contract with potential for future extension

Key responsibilities for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Reporting
- Forecasting
- Control budgets, maximising revenue and margin
- Managing sub contractors
- Working with the NEC contract
- Client Liaison
- Costing
Experience required for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience working on large civil engineering projects
- NEC experience
- This does require a large amount of time on site therefore flexibility required
