About the Role
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Private Client team, playing a crucial role in maintaining the firm's exceptional standards of client service.
Legal Secretary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality secretarial and administrative support across all non-legal aspects of Private Client work
Manage incoming telephone and email enquiries from prospective and existing clients
Welcome clients to the office, ensuring a professional and welcoming first impression
Maintain effective diary management for fee earners
Handle routine client telephone queries with confidence and professionalism
Undertake digital dictation and copy typing with meticulous attention to detail
Perform electronic filing and maintain efficient document management
Complete general secretarial and administrative duties to support the team's operations
Contribute to the firm's commitment to exceptional client care at every interaction
Legal Secretary Requirements:
Proven legal secretarial experience with proficiency in digital dictation
Strong copy typing skills with experience in electronic filing systems
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
Dedicated approach to delivering outstanding client care
Experience working in fast-paced, professional environments
Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise effectively
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Calm and composed demeanour when working under pressure
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards
Confident user of IT systems including document management platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook)
