Teaching Assistant Location: St Helens Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm Pay: £95-£105 per day Start Date: January We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a very well-regarded SEN school in St Helens. You will be working in a 1 to 1 capacity with students who have complex additional needs, including PMLD, SLD, severe autism, and a small number of students have SEMH needs. This provision has excellent outdoor grounds, and the students engage in a variety of outdoor activities including walking, sports and horticulture. This school supports secondary aged students, leaning towards the upper age limits (14+) Due to the nature of the students, you must be comfortable managing emotional dysregulation, challenging behaviour and personal care when needed. Your Role as a Teaching Assistant As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide classroom support across core subjects Work 1:1 with students.
