Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Integrated Stroke Early Supported Discharge & Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service. The Integrated service provides both stroke rehabilitation and community neuro rehabilitation, supporting service users with a variety of complex needs. This is an opportunity to join an established multi-disciplinary team comprising Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Specialist Nurses, and Neuro Rehab assistants.
This role involves managing a clinical caseload across the North of Cambridgeshire. The base will be either Peterborough or Fenland, depending on location nearest to home. The role includes visiting patients in their homes, wards, or community gyms, with occasional requirement to provide clinical cover elsewhere within Cambridgeshire. The role requires agile working, often using virtual consultation to manage a caseload. We will provide a smartphone and laptop to support this role. You will provide comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based specialist neuro Physiotherapy programmes, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patients with physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs to achieve their potential.
Responsibilities
* Manage a clinical caseload across the North of Cambridgeshire with base in Peterborough or Fenland as appropriate.
* Visit patients in their homes, wards, or community gyms. Provide clinical cover elsewhere within Cambridgeshire as required.
* Engage in agile working, including virtual consultations, supported by provided smartphone and laptop.
* Provide comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based specialist neuro Physiotherapy programmes.
* Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patients with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs to achieve their potential.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Flexible and adaptable to support service delivery.
* Ability to travel independently across the work locality; valid driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
