Warehouse Shift Supervisor | £27,000-£30,000

We're hiring a hands-on AM Shift Supervisor to start the day at our depot. You'll lead drivers and warehouse staff, ensure trucks are loaded correctly, paperwork is ready, and everything leaves on time.

What You'll Do
* Oversee early morning loading, ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly
* Check paperwork and prepare load sheets for drivers, including agency/subcontractor staff
* Conduct pallet and freight checks for accuracy and compliance
* Communicate with lead drivers and transport team to ensure on-time dispatch
* Open and prepare the depot for the day
* Lead, support, and give feedback to warehouse and driver teams
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety and company policies
* Spot operational issues early and escalate when necessary
What You'll Bring
* Experience in transport, logistics, or supervising a small team
* Confident communicator, calm under pressure
* Solid understanding of fleet operations, loading procedures, and H&S regulations
* Organised, proactive, and happy to work hands-on in a busy environment
* Positive "get it done" attitude and team-first mindset
* FLT Licence is essential for this position.
