Residential Experience Officer
University of Nottingham – University Park, UK.

Salary: £29,740 to £36,446 per annum pro‑rated, depending on skills and experience.
Hours: Full‑time (36.25 hours per week) with a variable shift pattern: 9:00‑17:00, 12:00‑20:00, 18:00‑02:00, typically occurring at least once per week in a 5‑day‑over‑7‑working‑week pattern; includes weekend work.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Residential Experience programme as part of the ResX team.
* Plan, deliver and evaluate events and activities on campus for student residents.
* Supervise student staff and manage day‑to‑day support for events.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders, including department staff, external service providers, and student representatives.
* Support the residential community by responding to queries, facilitating communication, and fostering a sense of belonging.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and detail orientation in all tasks.
* Attend meetings, contribute to strategic planning and share best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups and in one‑on‑one conversations.
* Strong organisational and creative skills, able to use Office 365 for planning and execution.
* Experience in customer service, event planning, learning environments and improving student experience.
* Problem‑solving, critical thinking, proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
* Current UK driving licence desirable due to cross‑site travel.
* Preferred: Background in student life or residential experience.
