Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of production operations and machine operations.
Duties
* Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient operation.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and products to maintain quality control.
* Assist in the preparation and manufacture of products, ensuring compliance with Quality regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise during production.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all health and safety protocols.
Experience
* Previous experience in production or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
* Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is beneficial.
* Strong basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation are required.

Hours and shifts
Week 1
Day shift 6 till 5 Mon – Thurs, 6 till 10am Fri.
After 10am on Fridays paid at time and a half as over time
Week 2
Night shift 5pm till 6am Mon – Weds 5pm till 3.30am Thurs all paid at time + 1/3
No weekend working hours as standard
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£15.87 per hour
