Marina Manager - Dorset
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Manager to lead the operations of a prestigious marina in Dorset. Ideally suited to an experienced Leisure, hospitality or Marina Manager
This role requires a strong and experienced leader who can take full ownership of marina performance, lead and develop the strategic vision, manage a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional experience for berth holders, visitors and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of the marina, ensuring the highest standards of safety, presentation and service
Recruit, manage and develop the marina team, providing clear leadership and ongoing development
Take ownership of the marina's financial performance, managing budgets, costs and revenue streams
Identify and develop new commercial opportunities to maximise site profitability
Deliver an outstanding customer experience, building strong relationships with berth holders and site tenants
Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental and company policies
Work closely with central support teams and senior leadership to deliver business objectives
Manage marina administration to ensure accurate billing, contracts and revenue capture
About You
We are looking for a proven leader with strong operational and commercial experience, ideally gained within a marina, harbour, leisure, hospitality or similar operational environment.
Key requirements include:
Significant leadership and management experience in a multi-faceted operational environment
Strong commercial awareness and financial management experience
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with strong administrative and IT skills
A proactive, hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining high operational standards
