Software Engineer | HealthTech | London | £100k–£130k + Equity
A high-growth, VC-backed HealthTech startup in central London is on the hunt for a high-calibre Software Engineer to join their founding engineering team. With recent early funding and deep market traction, this company is redefining how healthcare providers understand and manage their finances.
You'll work closely with the CTO and co-founders to help build a financial intelligence platform from the ground up, solving complex data integration challenges across healthcare, payments, and analytics.
What You'll Do:
* Design and build reliable, scalable systems powering healthcare data infrastructure, integrations (e.g. PMS, payments), and internal tooling.
* Own end-to-end delivery of meaningful features—from concept to deployed code.
* Collaborate closely with product and commercial teams to shape both what they build and how they build it.
* Apply strong engineering principles and write clean, maintainable code that scales.
* Move quickly and ship production-grade software without cutting corners.
You Might Be a Fit If You Have:
* 3+ years of professional experience building production-grade software.
* Strong backend engineering skills, ideally with experience in TypeScript,, PostgreSQL, and modern frameworks.
* A product mindset: you care about the "why" behind what you're building.
* Experience working in small, fast-paced teams (bonus if you've worked at an early-stage startup).
Technical Environment:
* Frontend: TypeScript,, Tailwind CSS
* Backend:, Python, Prisma, PostgreSQL
* Infrastructure: Serverless (Vercel), AWS (KMS, Secrets Manager)
* Other: OpenAI, Inngest (background jobs), dbt
