My client is a bespoke, client-focused law firm based in the heart of Sevenoaks, recognised for delivering high-quality, personalised legal services. The Private Client team supports a wide range of individuals and families with sensitivity, professionalism, and exceptional attention to detail. We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our growing team and contribute to the excellent service for which we are known.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce, format, and amend legal documents inclusive of wills, LPAs, probate forms, trust documents, and correspondence.
* Handle audio dictation and copy typing with a high level of accuracy.
* Assist with the preparation of client files, bundles, and reports.
* Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
* Conduct initial client onboarding, including ID verification and compliance checks.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Private Client team is essential.
* Strong understanding of wills, probate, trusts, and LPAs.
* Exceptional typing skills with accuracy and speed; experience with audio dictation preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
* Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
