Street Lighting Operations Manager
Oversee all PFI and 3rd Party Operations on the Northamptonshire Street Lighting PFI contract.
Interfaces
Internal: All staff at Northamptonshire PFI, peers throughout Contracts, enabling functions.
External: West and North Northamptonshire Authority customers, Connect Roads, auditors, system suppliers.
Accountabilities
1. Overall accountability for operational safety and performance.
2. Line manager responsibility for operations supervisors.
3. Leadership role over all operatives and supervisors.
4. Uncompromising approach to Zero Harm strategy within the contract.
5. Ensure workforce is effectively resourced.
6. Ensure workforce is trained and competent.
7. Drive efficiency and right first-time operational delivery through effective works programming.
8. Provide visible operational leadership both on site and within the depot.
9. Proactively manage and support operational supervisors.
10. Proactive short interval control of operational programme.
11. Support supervisors in delivering effective briefings and stand-down sessions.
12. Ensure that contract/project outcomes align with safety, quality, and financial targets.
13. Engage with supply chain partners to ensure safe and effective deployment on the network.
14. Provide support to the Contract Manager to ensure compliant contract operation.
15. Engage with Asset, Design, and Commercial teams throughout project delivery to promote a cohesive team approach.

* Experienced in managing operational teams.
* Solution-oriented individual capable of analyzing risks and benefits of options to resolve issues.
* Proven proactive management experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
* Proven ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task.
