Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year Requirements: I am looking for a candidate with experience in IT technical support, preferably with a background in troubleshooting 1st or 2nd line level enquiries. You should have working knowledge of O365, Windows 10, and server environments (2016/2019), along with exposure to firewall security. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective collaboration skills are essential, particularly in working closely with our IT manager based in Burton. Experience with networking systems including routers, switches, WiFi backups, and VOIP systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with CISCO networking, as well as DNS and DHCP knowledge, would be advantageous. A valid driver's license and access to a car are required as this position is onsite five days a week. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for supporting our technical estate, which includes desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, touchscreens, and internal telephone systems. I expect you to manage service desk tickets through our JIRA system, ensuring that requests are responded to within agreed SLAs. You will play a vital role in bringing a fully functional IT specialist team in-house and providing technical support across our three core sites in Glasgow, Scunthorpe, and Burton. You'll gain valuable experience working with core networking systems, enhancing both your skills and our team's capabilities.
