Job Title: Part Time Finance Assistant
Location: Wellington, Somerset (office based)
Contract Details: Permanent, Part Time (30 hours over 5 days a week, Monday - Friday)
Salary: £28, - £31, Pro Rata

Responsibilities:
8. Purchase Ledger: Process purchase invoices accurately and promptly into Sage 50, managing supplier payment runs.
9. Sales Ledger: Create and manage sales invoices, liaising with departments to resolve queries and coordinating payment processing.
10. Credit Control: Monitor customer accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups to meet debtor day targets while building rapport with clients.
11. Foreign Currency: Process transactions in euros and dollars, understanding exchange rates for efficiency.
12. Administrative Tasks: Support various financial-related tasks, including data transfers, bank reconciliations, and managing the accounts inbox.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
13. Previous experience in an accounting assistant role is essential
14. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
15. Familiarity with Sage 50 or other accounting software
16. Proficient in IT, particularly MS Excel
17. Excellent communication skills, both with colleagues and customers
18. A friendly, approachable manner
19. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
