We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our team.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide health and safety support and guidance across the business, building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and employees.
You will need to demonstrate specialist knowledge and understanding of health and safety principles and practices, as well as the ability to constructively challenge existing ways of working.
Main Duties
* Support the development and delivery of department strategies, initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes.
* Provide support and guidance to management teams in creating and reviewing risk assessments.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to provide effective and efficient close out of actions and recommendations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a proven health and safety professional with experience of working in a similar role, including carrying out internal and external audits.
A good working knowledge of health and safety challenges faced by a diverse organisation is essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with management and employees.
