Who We’re Looking For
The Pensions Section is a busy service area that looks after the pension benefits of over 70,000 members from over 60 different Employers. The Service deals with employees who are joining the Pension Fund, through to paying pensions and death benefits to members families.
We are looking for someone who

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in an experienced team, gain technical pensions knowledge, and develop skills that support both the growth and the delivery of a first-class pension service.
What Will You Study?
All Apprentices will be supported to complete a Level 3 qualification in Business and Administration via a local College.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, Pensions Team members have the opportunity to further study pension qualifications to build on their knowledge and progression through the Pension Team structure.
What will you be paid?
This is a fixed term post for a two-year period and will start in September.
You will be paid National Minimum Wage dependent on age:
* 21 & over £12.21
* 18 - 20 £10.00
* Under 18 £7.55

Due to the Apprenticeship entry criteria, applications cannot be accepted from any applicant who has already gained a similar qualification at level 3 or above in the role applied for.
For example, if you have a degree in Civil Engineering you will not be eligible to apply for a Civil Engineering apprenticeship post. However, you could apply for any other apprenticeship post. Any such applications will not be considered.
