Overview
Our dedicated MASH Team is on the lookout for a dynamic Investigating Manager to join them. The Adult MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Team offers crucial support to individuals who are at risk of or have experienced harm and have care and support needs. The team works closely with a variety of services and virtual partner agencies, these include Children's Services, Police, various health colleagues, CQC and Advocacy as well as a range of voluntary and provider services.
This position comes with a 7.5% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis. As an Investigating Manager, you will oversee all aspects of Section 42 enquiries concerning adults at risk. This will include setting actions, agreeing on minutes and maintain oversight of the investigation from start to finish.
For more complex investigations, involving care homes or hospital wards you will be required to take on the role of Investigating Officer.
You will be responsible for monitoring the safeguarding process to ensure it is adequately completed and outcomes are actioned appropriately.
With a minimum of 3 years\' post-qualification experience in a social care setting, you should be able to demonstrate extensive professional development since qualifying.
Holding a degree in Social Work alongside Social Work England registration will be essential.
