Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist (Epilepsy and LD) to play a leading clinical and service developmental role within Fife H&SCP Learning Disabilities Epilepsy Service.
Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day management of the epilepsy nursing caseload across the service, including workload of others.
* Assessment of patients, requesting and managing investigations, and treatment management.
* Care planning and evaluation of patients presenting with complex learning disabilities and epilepsy.
Qualifications
* Learning Disabilities Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Recognised qualification in epilepsy care (Post‑Graduate Certificate/Diploma).
* Evidence of continuing professional development, post‑registration qualification or study at Masters level.
* Advanced clinical skills, knowledge and experience, including non‑medical prescribing practice within adults across the age span presenting with learning disabilities, epilepsy and complex needs.
* Excellent interpersonal skills; leadership and team‑working experience; high‑level communication skills; critical analysis/problem‑solving skills; investment in personal/professional development including development of other staff.
* Commitment to partnership working with a range of stakeholders.
Other Requirements
* Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.

This is a permanent full‑time position (Monday to Friday). Travel between NHS Fife sites is required.
