Were looking for a collaborative and user-focused Product Manager to join the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC).
This key role will help shape the strategic direction of our scientific software products, with a particular focus on web-based tools used by researchers worldwide. Youll define product visions, guide development, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful scientific tools.
Working as part of our Product Management team, youll play a central role in ensuring our products meet evolving user needs, support scientific discovery, and align with the CCDCs charitable mission.
What Youll Be Doing
* Defining and communicating product strategy, roadmaps, and priorities.
* Leading one or more product areas across the full lifecycle, from idea to delivery and improvement
* Collaborating with Product Owners, scientists, developers, and commercial teams.
* Engaging with users and stakeholders to gather feedback and inform decision-making.
* Monitoring product success metrics such as adoption and satisfaction.
* Contributing to cross-product planning and a collaborative product culture.
What Were Looking For
* Experience delivering digital products, ideally in a scientific setting
* A solid understanding of agile delivery and cross-functional teamwork
* The ability to define and communicate a clear product vision
* Experience with scientific or research software products and digital product design.
* Understanding of the scientific and technical environment in which CCDC operates.
