Front-office technology lead – build quant systems – up to £300k tc

Bournemouth

Posted: 27 March
Offer description

Take ownership across a brand new fund; be the go-to person for technology.

This role is with a European equities-focused fund manager, who run a blend of discretionary and systematic strategies. The founder is launching a new sub-fund (purely algorithmic), and is looking for a hands-on leader to spearhead it’s technical progress.

Working closely with both the centralised technology team and front-office, you’ll be tasked with integrating / launching the fund from a technology perspective, whilst also enabling PMs / Traders to continuously advance trading strategies / fund performance.

This role would suit someone ideally from a buy-side environment, or someone with in sell-side with specific Equities experience. A hands-on technical leader, happy programming in C# and equally comfortable liaising with stakeholders / quant teams to get specialist work done quickly. If you’ve not led a team, no problem; it’s about leading technology / being the owner of a high-impact, quantitative environment.

This is an in-office role (sitting closely to the trading team), and is paying circa £300k TC.
