Our rapidly growing interior design studio in Chelford, Cheshire is looking for a Design Studio Manager to join our small but dynamic team.
This role is perfect for someone who loves combining creative design work with the organisational skills needed to keep a studio running smoothly. You'll support our lead designers on high-end residential and commercial projects while ensuring the studio stays efficient and organised.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Support
* Be able to produce accurate drawings, layouts, and elevations using AutoCAD (and SketchUp if required)
* Support lead designers with technical details and design documentation
* Contribute to concept design, feasibility studies, and material/FF&E schemes
* Assist with sourcing, specifying, and scheduling FF&E to meet project budgets and requirements
* Coordinate team workflows and deadlines, ensuring smooth delivery across multiple projects
* Provide quality control on drawings and presentations before client issue
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree (or equivalent) in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
* Proven experience in interior design, with a portfolio showing concept development, detailing, and delivery
* Studio or office management experience is a plus
Proficiency in
* AutoCAD
* SketchUp
* Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
* Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

* Strong design eye with exceptional attention to detail
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, suppliers, and the team
* Proactive, adaptable, and happy working independently or as part of a close-knit team
