<div><p>Our client, well established firm within the public sector, based in Gloucester, has an exciting new opportunity for a Lawyer Advocate to join their team on a temporary basis.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Good level of working knowledge of undertaking advocacy in court including undertaking contested hearings.</li><li>Experience of working in local government.</li><li>Qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives or qualified by way of legal experience in one of the legal advice areas.</li><li>Membership of the relevant professional body.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Carrying a caseload of cases as directed by the Senior Lawyer Advocate - Team lead.</li><li>Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, communication and feedback.</li><li>Support the Principle/Senior Lawyers in the management of the service.</li><li>Achieve the best outcome for the client in a timely manner.</li><li>Be able to undertake advocacy in relation to contested court hearings.</li><li>Work collaboratively with professionals and client departments to build excellent working relationships which are supportive to the client departments.</li></ul><h3>Compensation</h3><p>Hourly rate of £43.12 plus benefits including Holiday allowance.</p></div>
