About The Role
1. Load, transport, and deliver catering orders to customers safely and on time, assist with loading/unloading catering equipment as needed.
1. Ensure proper handling of food to maintain quality and temperature in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
1. Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage.
1. Provide friendly and professional service to clients upon delivery, addressing customer inquiries or issues and escalating concerns if needed.
1. Set up food and beverages as required (buffets, platters, etc.)
1. Keep the delivery vehicle clean, fuelled, and in good working condition, conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
1. Verify orders before leaving the kitchen to ensure accuracy.
1. Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate order preparation and dispatch, providing support to other team members during busy periods or large events.
