Job Title: Casual Multi-Sports Coach (Disability & Inclusion)
Department: Disabilities
Reports to: Disability Projects Managers
Responsible for: Delivering disability sports coaching sessions in schools and other community settings
Salary: £12.30 – £15.91 per hour (depending on qualifications/experience)

Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate with other Trust coaches to deliver sessions to a high standard, including planning and delivery tailored to participant needs.
* Build relationships with students, teachers and parents.
* Enhance children’s understanding of personal skills and values to achieve goals and ambitions.
* Participate in regular reviews with Disability Projects Managers to provide updates on session development.
* Support and signpost children and young people with disabilities into further participation pathways in sport.
* Maintain registers and participant data in line with project funding requirements.
* Attend staff training CPD workshops including safeguarding, emergency response and child protection.
* Deliver sessions in compliance with BFCCST policies on safeguarding, risk assessments, health and safety, incidents/accidents, GDPR.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of colleagues and participants during sessions.
* Use knowledge of participant needs to identify safeguarding concerns and report per BFCCST procedures.
* Report safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or designated personnel.

Essential Criteria
* Minimum Level 1 Coaching Qualification in at least one sport
* Experience with children and young people with special educational needs, disabilities and/or additional needs
* Safeguarding certificate
* Emergency Aid certificate
* Current Enhanced DBS
Desirable
* Experience coaching in schools and community settings with disabled children/young people
* NGB Level 2 Qualification in sport
* Clean driving license and car (may need to transport equipment)

* Willingness to learn and improve as a coach
* Willingness to increase knowledge of working with disabled children/young people
