We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focussed individual to join the Talent and Organisational Development team as a Learning and Development Advisor.

This post will work with the Senior Learning and Development Advisor focussing on supporting the delivery of an integrated talent and leadership development agenda. We need a solutions focussed, innovative and creative thinker as you will be responsible for developing tools and frameworks to identify talent in the organisation to enable delivery of the Plan for North Lanarkshire. You will create unique and progressive development experiences for our managers and leaders which will include the design and delivery of highly impactful leadership and management development programmes and blended learning pathways across leadership and talent development. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to support them in developing their internal talent capability and improving their talent pipeline. You will also design and deliver occupational management development solutions such as SVQs and PDAs in line with the organisation’s priorities and the workforce for the future strategy.

An SCQF Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline is essential as is experience in developing and delivering talent management solutions and working creatively with a range of stakeholders. You will also have experience of blended learning approaches and delivering immersive and experiential leadership development programmes. Sound project management skills are essential and you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A management qualification would be desirable.
