Role: Veterinary Care Assistant
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of the practice team, working alongside Veterinary Surgeons, qualified Nurses, and Student Nurses to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing a gold standard service to our patients and clients.
2. Following cleaning protocols to maintain the cleanliness of the clinical environment.
3. Preparing and maintaining medical equipment.
This role involves working 40 hours a week, including some weekends, at our West Byfleet practice.

Role Accountabilities:
At Medivet, exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do. This includes care for our patients, clients, and colleagues. In this role, you will:
* Deliver exceptional care to clients.
* Support with operations and procedures.
* Provide patient monitoring and care, including walking, toileting, and feeding.
* Ensure completion of all pre and post-operation activities.
* Assist with patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
* Dispense medication under the guidance of the Veterinary team.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
Your Skills and Experience:
* Experience working as part of a team and building positive relationships with colleagues.
* Ability to provide exceptional care to clients and patients.
* Client care skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage own workload.
* Flexibility and willingness to learn.
* Understanding of regulation and compliance importance.
