Are you an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist interested in working with young people and their systems, helping to develop a psychologically informed environment?
The post holder is a member of the multi-professional team and will work as an autonomous, independent practitioner responsible for their own interventions and for interpreting guidelines and policies in providing a highly specialist psychological service to young people at Bluebird House.
Responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking complex assessments and offering consultancy and expert advice to colleagues, the wider clinical team, other agencies, and non-professional carers on formulation, psychological interventions, and risk management.
2. Providing specialist interventions for complex cases, planning and prioritising their clinical workload.
3. Promoting the Psychological Model of Care and enhancing nurse-led, psychologically informed approaches.
4. Proposing policy or service development within the psychological service and team.
5. Providing supervision to team members and psychological guidance to multi-professional clinical colleagues.
6. Engaging in research, audit, policy, and service development, fostering a research ethos within the team.
7. Valuing co-production and demonstrating respect for young people, their carers, and the trust's core values: patients and people first; partnership; and respect.

Salary: £55,690 to £62,682 per year. For part-time hours, salary is pro-rata.
