We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Teacher to join an OFSTED rated 'Good' Secondary school in Bedfordshire. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer science and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The role is suitable for ECT and experienced teachers. This is a fixed‑term position starting in September2026 and will run full‑time until the October half‑term.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable)
* Teach within the computer science curriculum
* Teach fundamental computer skills, including software applications, programming, and internet safety
* Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Assess and support student progress
Requirements
* Hold QTS or relevant teaching qualifications and proven classroom experience
* Recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools
* Strong subject knowledge within your specialism
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* The right to work in the UK
