Vacancy - Control Room Operative Are you an experienced Control Room Operative looking to utilise your skills and experience in a new and different environment? Are you excited by the opportunity to join a team working in a vibrant maritime environment at one of the busiest ports in the UK supporting a small police team? Your Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operative to be based at the Port of Liverpool Police Headquarters in a multi-functional operating centre which supports the Port of Liverpool Police, Peel Ports, tenants of the port, all other port users and the public. You will help to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the port, responding promptly to incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action as required. What you'll bring You will have previous control room experience and previous experience of CCTV systems, ideally in a Police setting. You will demonstrate the ability to professionally handle and process sensitive/official and fast moving police information, whilst remaining calm and in control of the working environment. Excellent and clear verbal and written communication skills and critical, with experience of working both as part of a team but also independently. You will have a competent level of Microsoft Office and other software systems experience to support your work. Who are we?
