Position Overview:
As a Finance Analyst with Power BI expertise, you will play a key role in transforming raw financial data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide valuable analysis, reporting, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Analysis:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Provide insights into key financial metrics, contributing to decision-making processes.
2. Power BI Development:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for financial analysis.Implement best practices for data visualisation to enhance understanding and decision-making.
3. Data Integration:
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial and operational data.Extract and manipulate data from various sources for analysis and reporting purposes.
4. Forecasting and Budgeting:
Support the annual budgeting process through data analysis and scenario modelling.Assist in developing financial forecasts to guide strategic planning.
5. Ad Hoc Reporting:
Respond to ad hoc reporting requests, providing timely and accurate information to support decision-makers.Continuously improve reporting processes to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
6. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
7. Proven experience as a Finance Analyst with a focus on data analysis.
8. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard design and report creation.
9. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
10. Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
11. Effective communication skills to convey complex financial insights to non-technical stakeholders.
