Role Description
We're looking for a senior communications lead who thinks commercially. You'll own how Arcade shows up in the world — media, industry events, social presence, and awards — with one clear lens: every piece of coverage and every room you get us into should serve new business.
You'll map our narrative to commercial goals, build the reputation that makes brands want to work with us before we've pitched, and turn culture and community into pipeline.
Real ownership, a budget, and direct visibility to senior leadership from day one.
You'll get stuck into:
PR & Media Relations
* Build relationships with journalists and editors at Campaign, The Drum, LBB, and creator economy titles
* Proactively place stories, opinion pieces, and case study coverage that build Arcade's reputation
* Develop press assets and reactive commentary capability; track share of voice vs. competitors
Commercial Enablement
* Translate client work into media-worthy stories that double as sales assets
* Build a library of case studies, credentials, and thought leadership content for the commercial team
* Track how PR contributes to pipeline — inbound enquiries, lead attribution, pitch conversion
Owned Social & Digital
* Own Arcade's LinkedIn and wider social voice with a content calendar that positions the agency as a credible, opinionated industry voice
* Surface internal work and opinions worth sharing; monitor performance and iterate
Awards
* Lead the awards programme end-to-end: identifying targets, writing entries, coordinating case study films, and leveraging wins as BD assets
* Target: Campaign Big Awards, The Drum, Webby, Cannes Lions, Shorty Awards
Industry Presence & Events
* Secure speaking opportunities and panel appearances for Arcade and its leadership
* Plan and execute owned events — from creator dinners to larger industry gatherings
* Own the PR and events budget; report monthly on coverage quality, share of voice, social growth, event ROI, and inbound leads attributed to comms
Thought Leadership
* Commission and write opinion content, whitepapers, and trend reports
* Develop the personal brands of senior leadership through media placements and platform activity
