We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Support Apprentice to support our People Services team in delivering effective HR administration while also assisting with risk management and compliance activities. This exclusive opportunity will provide practical experience and learning opportunities in People Services, compliance standards, and risk mitigation processes. It will also include undertaking an advance apprenticeship, working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Participate actively in apprenticeship training, including workshops, online learning, and assessments.
Support compliance activities by helping to ensure HR policies and procedures align with legal and regulatory requirements.
Aid in monitoring and reporting on compliance risks within People Services processes.
Assist in preparing documentation and evidence for audits and internal reviews.
Support the implementation of risk management frameworks within People Services.
Collaborate with colleagues across People Services to deliver timely and accurate HR support.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within People Services and compliance functions.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attain a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
You will also take part in a soft skills development programme.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of your programme, if you have successfully completed your apprenticeship and achieved the performance targets we have set for you, you are guaranteed a permanent role with us.

Qualifications
GCSE English at a level 5 or above as well as maths + three others (Grade 9 4 or A*- C) essential

You should have a keen strong interest in compliance, risk management and a passion for developing a career within Human Resources. An existing good knowledge and experience of office 365, specifically Excel and Visio is preferable.
