Berry Recruitment are recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Driver to work with our Client based in Wolverhampton
You must have external in date licences and over 6 months UK experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
2. Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
3. Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
4. Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
5. Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
6. Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
7. Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport
8. Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
9. Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods
Working Hours / Days:
10. Shifts are rotational with a week of each:
11. Morning shift –05:30-13:30/ 6am to 2pm,
12. Afternoon shift 13:30-21:30/2pm-10pm
13. Night shift - 21:30-05:30/10pm to 6am.

Friday is a 6.5hr shift

Pay rates:
15. Morning shift £13.50
16. Afternoon shift £13.50
17. Night shift £15.33
18. Saturday overtime pay rate is £18.41
19. Sunday overtime pay rate is £24.54
20. OT in the week payable after 36.5 hours
Berry recruitment will:
21. Pay weekly
22. Guaranteed 36.5 hour week on an ongoing contract.
23. Dedicated on-site support from Berry
24. Free on-site parking
25. Pension scheme

Ideal Candidate:
26. Must have a Counterbalance licence (not in-house)
27. Experience working on a counterbalance 6 months plus
28. Must have your own transport to be able to get to site
