Are you a skilled, dynamic and motivated enthusiastic nurse looking to work in a passionate team of like-minded individuals? Then why not join our forward-thinking local Transitional Care team providing care on our postnatal ward, to ensure infants and mothers stay together from birth.
Have you a passion for high standards of neonatal care, an innovative and progressive attitude with a desire to facilitate transitional care (staff development)? This could be the role for you. (We are committed to developing your leadership and managerial skills.)
We are developing our Transitional Care provision here at RCHT. We have launched the new role for a Band 5 Neonatal Nurse. Your role will be to support mothers as primary care providers for their babies with care needs more than normal requirements but not needing to be admitted to the Neonatal Unit.
Transitional Care is a 25 bed/cot environment for parents and babies. Family-centred care is the core focus, keeping babies with their families. The benefits of Transitional Care include reduced hospital stay and readmission rates, enhanced parental confidence and bonding, and improved baby development for a healthier future.
