The role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be at the heart of a major nuclear decommissioning project, helping to deliver commercial integrity and contract governance across a high-value programme.
Day-to-day, you’ll lead contract change assessments, negotiate pricing, and implement commercial solutions that drive value and compliance.
1. Delivering contract management and governance support to the project team
2. Leading change assessments including scoping, cost and time impact
3. Negotiating and pricing contract changes with stakeholders
4. Developing and implementing commercial solutions that benefit all parties
5. Ensuring compliance with contract terms and commercial best practice
This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week, based at Warrington (Cheshire). Hybrid working patterns are available, with 2–3 days in the office.
Essential experience of the Quantity Surveyor:
6. Demonstrable experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a regulated industry
7. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of NEC3 or similar standard contracts
8. Proven ability to support projects and change initiatives using appropriate methodologies
9. Experience in forecasting and costing
10. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders
Qualifications for the Quantity Surveyor:
11. Degree-qualified in a relevant field (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management)
