About the Neurodiversity Enfield Team
The Neurodiversity Enfield Team is a multidisciplinary team which is designed to provide a needs‑led, family‑centred approach for children under the age of six with neurodivergent learning needs. The team includes (but is not limited to) speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, paediatricians, clinical psychologists, administrators, Experts by Experience and assistants.
Role Overview
We are looking for an administrator to join our ever‑expanding team. The administrator will provide essential administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of healthcare services for the children and families accessing the Neurodiversity pathway. This role will consist of maintaining accurate health records, collating and analysing data for health trends and outcomes, preparing reports, assisting members of the team with scheduling and coordinating their assignments, and supporting communication between staff, schools, parents and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate health records, files and documentation related to team activities and individual child plans.
* Collect, compile and analyse data related to health services provided, child health records and other relevant information; prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage diaries, schedules, appointments and meetings for the team; coordinate and organise team meetings, training sessions and workshops.
* Act as a point of contact between the team and families and external healthcare providers; facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Monitor and manage inventory of equipment and resources; assist in the procurement of necessary supplies and ensure timely replenishment.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures regarding child health and safety; maintain confidentiality of child health information and adhere to data protection regulations.
* Assist in the orientation and training of new staff; support continuous professional development initiatives for the team.
* Provide high quality comprehensive administrative assistance to the neurodiversity team and liaise with own and other departments where appropriate.
* Coordination and support of documents, minutes, filing, photocopying and other essential administrative duties to support the comprehensive administration support service.
* Use initiative in all aspects of administration work, efficiently prioritising work and meeting deadlines.
