We are seeking a motivated and organised Purchasing Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. Working closely with management, you will support the coordination of purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and stock control to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with planning and organising the purchase of materials and subcontracted services.
Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate reconciliation with supplier invoices.
Process supplier invoices and resolve any related queries.
Maintain and update the company's ERP/MRP system.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value and service.
Monitor deliveries and communicate any potential delays or shortages.
Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory control.
Assist with supplier appraisals and performance reviews.
Provide general administrative and purchasing support as required.Skills Required
