As a Graduate Electrical Engineer you’ll use data, digital tools and hands‑on insight to help drive smarter, safer ways of working. It’s a varied role where you’ll grow your skills, get out on site and make a real impact from day one.
Responsibilities
* Analysing data to uncover trends, risks and opportunities
* Designing complex distribution infrastructure including substation, cable system and overhead line
* Supporting teams with tools such as Depotnet, cable modelling, AutoCAD and Revit
* Managing multidisciplinary stakeholders internally and externally
* Visiting sites to gather ground knowledge of constructability, engineering difficulty and key risks
* Helping embed digital tools and best practice across the business
* Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team with colleagues across engineering, delivery and digital
Qualifications
You’ll hold a BEng/BSc in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical engineering, Power Systems Engineering, etc.). You will have a full UK driving licence, strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, and ideally a background or interest in utilities or infrastructure.
You are proactive, analytical and solutions‑focused, curious and eager to learn. You’re confident with data, skilled with Excel and the Microsoft suite, and can explain findings clearly to different audiences.
