This senior manager role is the primary interface between VodafoneThree’s Network Strategy & Transformation function and external business units, managing demand into the Network function. It ensures that network capabilities, roadmaps, and transformation plans are clearly communicated, understood, and aligned with commercial, regulatory, and strategic priorities across the organization.
Responsibilities
* Represent the entire Networks function in engagements with all business teams (CBU, VBU, WBU, Legal, Regulatory), VF Group (VSA) and IT teams.
* Providing consultancy and support for network‑related initiatives with the business units, helping the business to shape demand in a form which is clearly scoped and aligned with existing and planned initiatives. Any conflicts in demand shall be identified and resolved.
* Regularly brief the Network leadership team on all key bids (EDRA/Lighthouse) and key project demand. Manage and resolve escalations from the business or network that are related to the interlock and demand functions.
* Organise and lead regular interlocks with business units to share updates on the network roadmap, evolution plans, and investment priorities.
* Disseminate network capability roadmaps to external teams, ensuring compliance with confidentiality boundaries (e.g. glass walls for WBU).
* Track and maintain business unit roadmaps that generate significant network demand, ensuring visibility and alignment with network planning.
* Ensure all business initiatives and demands follow the formal network demand intake and assessment process.
* Attend and report on relevant business meetings, identifying network implications and debriefing senior network leadership through established governance forums.
* Jointly maintain a high‑level view of major network and IT initiatives over an 18‑month horizon, supporting strategic planning and resource alignment.
* Lead and coordinate impact assessments, drawing on specialist input from NS&T and other network domains.
* Technically own the live Network Demand process, ensuring all demand is tracked and managed through appropriate tooling until the demand is completed and transferred.
* Validate incoming demand for priority, budget alignment, business outcomes, and architectural feasibility in collaboration with strategy teams.
Qualifications
* Proven track record working in telecoms business engagement, network strategy or transformation roles.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across commercial, legal, regulatory and technical domains.
* Deep understanding of network capability planning and demand forecasting processes.
* Excellent track record in managing cross‑functional forums and translating business needs into technical requirements.
