Elevation Recruitment Group, Business Support Division are working with a leading manufacturing company based in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire. As part of ongoing growth, we are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join their procurement team.
As a Purchasing Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting our procurement activities. You will be responsible for the following;
1. Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently using our procurement system.
2. Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
3. Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, including pricing, delivery dates, and vendor information.
4. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
5. Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
6. Resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders, invoices, or deliveries in a timely manner.
7. Support the procurement team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
