Trial Balance has been exclusively assigned by a Falmouth based firm working within the marine industry to source their next finance recruit, a Management Accountant / Assistant Accountant who will provide key financial and commercial administration support to the Finance Manager and the wider business in a range of key areas.
Working closely with the senior finance team, your duties in this role will be many and varied, from supervision of the purchase and sales ledger functions through to assisting with month and year end processes, VAT return preparation, reconciliations, resolving queries and ad-hoc administrative assistance as required.
Previous experience in a similar level of role will be key to your success in this role, along with an ability to work to deadlines and to manage your own workload in a constantly changing environment. This role will challenge your strong financial and commercial skills and see you liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You should be able to demonstrate excellent systems skills to include Sage Line 50.
