We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join our dynamic Parts Team at Greenhous DAF in Shrewsbury.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Thursday and Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm i.e. 17 hours per week. 30 minutes lunch (unpaid).
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, check, and store incoming parts and stock.
* Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and organised warehouse.
* Assist with stocktaking and inventory control.
* Prepare goods for dispatch and delivery.
* Carry out local deliveries to customers and suppliers as a Relief Driver.
* Provide excellent customer service at all times.
* Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Ideally, we are looking for:
* A full driving licence is essential.
* Previous warehouse or driving experience is desirable but not essential.
* Must be physically fit and able to handle manual lifting tasks.
* Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
* Flexible and willing to cover driving duties at short notice.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
