The vacancy
An exciting opportunity to join our Electrical team is here! In this role you will be responsible for managing all our repairs, servicing and maintenance activities, compliance and budget for electrical systems in our domestic and commercial properties. You will manage a team of 2 supervisors, 17 Electricians and 3 Apprentices.
The Electrical team sits within our Home Repairs Service and you will be able to work closely with others to ensure value for money, without impacting quality, is gained through everything the team do.
The Health & Safety of our colleagues and customers are a priority and this role will ensure H&S policies are understood and followed.
In this role you will also oversee the work quality and electrical audits to ensure the work is compliant and in line with best practice.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will have experience as a NICEIC Duty Holder and/or Qualified Supervisor.
You will also have experience in leading a high performing team and instructing contractors to deliver our customer’s needs. This will include being able to provide advice and technical knowledge where needed.
You will have a recognised Electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent, 18th Edition, etc and need to come with experience in developing and managing an annual budget and delivering to the SLA’s in place.
Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle or equivalent transport is required.
There may be a need for some out of hours work but this can be discussed at interview.
