FutureGen Recruitment is working with a leading planning consultancy in Reading seeking a Senior Town Planner to support a growing portfolio of residential-led mixed-use schemes across the Thames Valley and wider South East.
This is a business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality planning advice, particularly on complex sites requiring careful stakeholder management and commercially grounded strategy.
The Role
* Leading planning applications through to determination
* Drafting detailed Planning Statements and supporting planning strategy documents
* Negotiating with planning officers and consultees
* Representing clients at planning committee
* Supporting Local Plan representations and strategic land promotion
* Assisting with planning appeals where required
* Mentoring junior planners and supporting team delivery
About You
* MRTPI qualified or close to achieving chartership
* Confident communicator with client-facing ability
* Strong report writing and project management skills
* Commercially minded and delivery focused
